Outsourced in Colombia is seeking a senior full-stack product engineer who can partner with business and domain experts to turn operational problems into production-ready software.

You will understand problems, ask the right questions, and own delivery from idea to production, building automations across accounting, operations, and workflow platforms. Collaborate with teams across the US, LATAM, and India, harness AI-assisted tools to boost velocity while shipping robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building production-ready full-stack applications.
• Strong backend skills and ability to work on frontend when needed.
• Experience designing and consuming external APIs and integrations.
• Solid SQL and relational data fundamentals.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and incomplete requirements.
• Good product judgment focused on user outcomes.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Independent problem solver who escalates when necessary.
• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with business, accounting, and operations teams to understand problems.
• Build full-stack product features and automations across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and data workflows.
• Turn loosely defined business needs into clear, testable, production-ready implementations.
• Ask clarifying questions early when requirements are incomplete or unclear.
• Identify when a one-off automation should become a reusable product or platform capability.
• Integrate with external systems such as accounting, payroll, POS, and other business platforms.
• Design for production conditions, including incomplete data, failures, and observability.
• Own testing, deployment, validation, and follow-through after release.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost engineering velocity.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions across the product.
• Collaborate with engineers across the US, LATAM, and India.
