Mappa is seeking an FP&A professional to work across multiple client engagements, owning models, budgets, and reporting that inform strategic decisions with founders and executives.

You’ll deliver dashboards, board materials, and diligence data for fundraising, while optimizing close processes and ensuring GAAP compliance. This role blends analysis with strategic finance across busy engagements.

Formación

• 3 to 6 years in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting advisory, investment banking or a startup finance team.
• Strong three-statement modeling skills: build a driver-based model from scratch and explain every assumption.
• Solid GAAP knowledge, including accruals, revenue recognition and the month-end close.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Clear writing and speaking: explain variance or a forecast to a founder who isn’t a finance person.
• The organization to handle several clients and deadlines at once without dropping details.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain client financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses as the source of truth.
• Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analysis with clear commentary.
• Produce KPI dashboards and board materials that translate operating data into actionable insight.
• Run or review month-end close, GAAP financial statements, and core controllership workflows.
• Support fundraising work with models, investor materials, and diligence support.
• Improve client finance processes by standardizing workflows, reducing manual steps, and tracking close and error metrics.
