Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. You will bridge cloud finance operations, accounting workflows, and cost governance, managing month-end close, validating automated journal entries, and overseeing credit amortization and allocation variance analysis.

You will collaborate with FinOps leads, and ensure cost controls across AWS and GCP. The role emphasizes SOX-adjacent controls and data integrity in a multi-cloud enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Accounting, FinOps, or TBM.
• Solid knowledge of general ledger, cost center allocations, month-end close, credit amortization, and SOX compliance.
• Strong collaboration with Platform Owners, Accountants, FinOps Leads, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off on draft journal entry batches and confirm JE exports reconcile with the accounting system.
• Reconcile raw billing data against cloud invoices and apply credit amortization schedules.
• Manage allocation rules across 40+ cost centers and realign expenses to project budgets.
• Collaborate to run quarterly re-forecasts and adjust workload growth models.
• Monitor cloud spend against contracts with AWS and GCP; file billing dispute tickets as needed.
• Validate journal entries and cost center totals against old/new reports during the transition.
