AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer - Transmission & Distribution (Secondary) based in Bogotá to design and deliver secondary engineering systems for HV substations, including protection, control, automation, and communication systems. The role covers FEED, Detailed Design, Construction and Commissioning with a focus on quality, safety and reliability.

• Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of equivalent experience or education
• Experience delivering secondary design packages for EPC/DB substation projects
• Exposure to IEC/IEEE/ANSI and regional standards preferred
• Strong knowledge of protection & control systems and relay protection schemes
• Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines
• Proficient in producing complete secondary deliverables independently
• English language mandatory (oral and written)

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and deliver secondary design documentation for HV Substations (Protection & control schematics)
• Develop wiring diagrams, cable schedules, termination drawings, and LDIS/logic diagrams
• Create panel layouts and equipment arrangements
• Develop protection and control philosophies and basis of design
• Design AC/DC auxiliary systems, interlocking and automation interfaces
• Support relay configuration and protection scheme design
• Coordinate with other disciplines for integrated, clash-free design
• Support FAT, site testing and commissioning documentation
• Provide engineering support during construction, energization and commissioning
• Assist in technical risk mitigation and engineering estimates
