AECOM Colombia seeks a Senior Engineer - Transmission & Distribution (Secondary) to lead the design and delivery of secondary engineering systems for high voltage substations, including protection, control, automation and communication.
The role covers FEED through commissioning, with rigorous technical coordination, documentation, and quality control to ensure reliable operation of substations in line with international standards and client specifications.
Formación
- Electrical engineers must have experience with secondary systems for HV/EHV substations.
- Experience delivering secondary design packages for EPC/Design-Build substation projects.
- Exposure to IEC/IEEE/ANSI and regional standards is beneficial.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines and produce complete deliverables independently.
Responsabilidades
- Prepare secondary design documentation for HV Substations, including protection & control schematics, wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
- Develop protection and control philosophies and basis of design documentation.
- Support relay configuration, protection schemes and automation interfaces.
- Coordinate with primary, civil and SCADA/telecom disciplines for integrated design.
