BairesDev is hiring a Senior Embedded Engineer for a 100% remote role. You will design and develop high-performance firmware and embedded software across hardware platforms, serving as the bridge between hardware constraints and software execution.

You will work with RTOS, device drivers, and Linux-based systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security for IoT, automotive, or industrial devices. Excellent English and strong collaboration skills are required for global teams.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Embedded Systems Engineering or firmware development.
• Expertise in C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded Linux.
• Experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
• Experience developing device drivers and performing low-level debugging.
• Experience building firmware for IoT, automotive, or industrial devices.
• Strong English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and develop robust firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
• Design and implement low-level device drivers to facilitate seamless hardware-software communication.
• Integrate RTOS to manage complex task scheduling and resource allocation.
• Conduct deep-dive debugging and performance tuning at the hardware abstraction layer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements for IoT, automotive, or industrial applications.
• Ensure system stability and security through rigorous testing and low-level code optimization.
