BairesDev is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer to design and develop high-performance firmware for diverse hardware platforms, bridging hardware constraints and software execution in mission-critical environments.

You will work on RTOS integrations, device drivers, and IoT/industrial applications, collaborating with global teams. 100% remote, competitive compensation in USD, flexible hours, and opportunities for career growth.

Formación

5+ years of experience in Embedded Systems Engineering or firmware development.
Proven expertise in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and embedded Linux.
Hands-on experience with RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
Proficiency in developing device drivers and performing low-level debugging.
Strong background in building firmware for IoT, automotive, or industrial devices.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

Architect and develop robust firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
Design and implement low-level device drivers to facilitate seamless hardware-software communication.
Integrate real-time operating systems (RTOS) to manage complex task scheduling and resource allocation.
Conduct deep-dive debugging and performance tuning at the hardware abstraction layer.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements for IoT, automotive, or industrial applications.
Ensure system stability and security through rigorous testing and low-level code optimization.
