BairesDev, a global technology company, is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to design and maintain custom embedded Linux distributions, ensuring tight hardware-software integration across ARM and x86 platforms.

You will lead board bring-up, bootloader configurations with U-Boot, and kernel module development, while collaborating with hardware teams to deliver robust firmware and reliable system performance. This role is 100% remote, with USD compensation options.

Formación

• 5+ years in Systems Engineering or Embedded Software.
• Proven experience in embedded Linux with Yocto or Buildroot.
• Hands-on board bring-up, U-Boot, and kernel driver work.
• Strong low-level C/C++ with ARM/x86 knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain embedded Linux distributions for hardware.
• Develop and optimize kernel modules and drivers.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for integration.
• Maintain build systems for firmware production.
