BairesDev is seeking a Firmware Engineer to craft low-level firmware that runs directly on hardware, bridging hardware and software for reliable device operation.

You will write bare-metal C, develop drivers and bootloaders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and resource usage across diverse electronic devices.

This fully remote role offers flexible schedules, USD or local currency compensation, and a path for technical growth within a global, multicultural team.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Firmware Engineering or Embedded Systems development.
• Proven expertise in writing firmware in C for bare-metal environments.
• Hands-on experience developing and debugging bootloaders and low-level device drivers.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop bare-metal firmware for electronic devices using C.
• Create and optimize low-level device drivers to enable hardware functionality.
• Implement and maintain robust bootloaders for secure and efficient system initialization.
• Conduct low-level debugging and hardware-software integration testing.
• Partner with engineering teams to optimize firmware performance and resource utilization.
