Bluelightconsulting is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Snowflake, Python/PySpark, and cloud-native tools. You will ingest, transform, and load data from REST APIs, databases, and cloud storage, collaborating with architects to align data models with business goals.

The role requires strong SQL, dimensional modeling, and experience with Azure data services, Git/Azure DevOps, and BI tools.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines from REST APIs, relational databases, cloud storage, and flat files.
• Snowflake proficiency with warehouses, streams, stages, Snowpipe, data sharing and performance tuning.
• Advanced SQL for large-scale workloads.
• Experience with dimensional modeling (star schemas, facts, dimensions).
• Cloud/Azure familiarity; CI/CD pipelines with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written/spoken communication; teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of data integration best practices, governance, and enterprise data management.
• Certifications such as SnowPro or Azure Data Engineer are a plus.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and agile/DevOps practices.
• Big data, ML/Data science platforms are a plus.
