Bluelightconsulting is seeking a data engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark), Snowflake, and cloud-native tech, helping clients turn data into actionable insights.

You will work remotely with global teams from Barranquilla, collaborating on REST API ingestion, data modeling, and BI integration with Power BI or Tableau, while applying governance, security, and best practices to deliver robust data platforms.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Core Experience: End-to-end data pipelines from REST APIs, relational DBs, cloud storage, flat files.
• Snowflake Proficiency: Virtual warehouses, streams, tasks, stages, Snowpipe, data sharing, optimization.
• SQL: Advanced SQL development for large-scale workloads.
• Data Modeling: Dimensional modeling (star schemas, facts, dimensions).
