Bluelightconsulting is hiring an ETL Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines using Python (PySpark) in Azure Synapse Analytics. You will work with data scientists and analysts to ensure accurate, timely data for insights.

Applicants should have PySpark ETL experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with data warehousing concepts. The role involves collaboration, governance, and performance tuning in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience; Azure Data Engineer cert is a plus.
• Proven ETL experience with Python/PySpark and REST API data sources.
• Strong SQL skills with SparkSQL and MS SQL.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics resources (Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services).
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data modeling, and data quality checks.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines in PySpark within Azure Synapse.
• Design data models and schemas aligned to business needs.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Document data flows, transformations, and governance controls.
