AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, data modeling, governance, and observability, delivering production-grade solutions with robust security and access controls.

You will implement CI/CD, manage infrastructure with Terraform, and ensure HIPAA-aligned data handling. Strong Python, SQL, and cloud data engineering skills are essential in this high-ownership role.

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with full production pipeline ownership.
• Proven track record building and managing cloud data platforms with Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals, including Kimball, dimensional design, and SCD management.
• Production experience with SQLMesh or DBT operating in a warehouse-centric architecture.
• Hands-on experience ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.
• Hands-on experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, with CI/CD via GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to audit, take over, and operate an existing data platform built by a third-party vendor.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting from enterprise sources into Snowflake.
• Build and optimize analytics-ready data models (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using SQLMesh/DBT.
• Provision and manage platform infrastructure via Terraform and Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and releases.
• Design and enforce data governance, including Snowflake RBAC and HIPAA-aligned handling.
• Configure cloud networking and private connectivity (Azure VNet, Private Endpoints).
• Build platform observability using Datadog and track data lineage and freshness.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities and data quality checks.
• Apply Agile delivery practices with stakeholders and maintain standards.
