AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer in Barranquilla to translate stakeholder needs into data transformation work using dbt and SQL.

You will join project teams to deliver robust data features and pipelines in a fast-paced environment. The role involves building scalable pipelines on Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and local Python, while documenting and evolving data models.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in a production environment.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience building transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and development tools like GitHub and VS Code.
• Ability to work in a lean, cross-functional data team.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines within project teams for fast-paced verticals.
• Translate business use cases into data models using dbt and SQL with complex logic.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code and Python.
• Leverage AI tools in development workflow and improve governance of data tooling.
• Collaborate with product managers and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data.
