AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to partner with business stakeholders and translate requirements into data transformation work using dbt and SQL. You will deliver robust data features and pipelines within cross-functional project teams, focusing on production-ready analytics for fast-paced, business-facing verticals.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data/analytics engineering, expert Python and SQL skills, and hands-on dbt Cloud experience.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in a production environment.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience building transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and development tools like GitHub and VS Code.
• Experience thriving in a process-light environment similar to a data science team.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines within project teams for business-facing verticals (e.g., distribution).
• Translate business needs into data models using dbt and SQL, aggregating revenue and performance data from platforms like YouTube, Amazon, Roku, etc., and joining with internal contracts.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code and Python; document data flow in dbt catalogs.
• Leverage AI tools in development workflow (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Snowflake Cortex, dbt wizard) with governance considerations.
• Collaborate with product managers, data visualization leads, and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data and align on quality standards.
