AgileEngine in Bucaramanga, Colombia, seeks a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to translate business needs into robust data transformations using dbt and SQL. You will work with stakeholders to deliver data products that support distribution channels and strategic decisions.

You will build scalable pipelines with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and Python, transitioning knowledge into well-documented dbt catalogs and mentoring teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in production.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills.
• Extensive hands-on experience building transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and development tools like GitHub and VS Code.
• Ability to thrive in a low-process environment with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines within project teams for business-facing verticals.
• Translate complex business use cases into robust data models using dbt and SQL.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines with Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and Python.
• Collaborate with product managers and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data.
• Leverage AI tools in the development workflow and help governance of their use.
