AgileEngine in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, seeks a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to build data pipelines and analytical models supporting BI and strategic decisions in the media and entertainment sector.

You will work in project teams, translate business use cases into robust data models with dbt and SQL, and build scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and Python. Collaborate with product managers to deliver consumption-ready data and uphold quality standards.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in a production environment, in the media and entertainment industry.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills; extensive hands-on experience building transformation pipelines in dbt Cloud.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and development tools like GitHub and VS Code.
• Ability to thrive in a process-light environment similar to a data science team.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders and product managers during sprint planning.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines within project teams in fast-paced, business-facing verticals.
• Translate complex business use cases into robust data models using dbt and SQL.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code, and Python.
• Leverage AI tools in the development workflow and improve governance for tool adoption.
