AgileEngine in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia is seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Engineer to build data pipelines and analytical models supporting business intelligence in the media and entertainment industry.

You will translate complex use cases into data models using dbt Cloud and SQL, leveraging Snowflake and Python, and collaborate with product managers to deliver consumption-ready data across fast-moving verticals.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering in production.
• Expert-level Python and SQL skills; strong experience with dbt Cloud preferred.
• Proficiency with Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms; familiarity with GitHub and VS Code.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver robust data features and pipelines within project teams for fast-paced, business-facing verticals.
• Translate complex business use cases into robust data models using dbt and SQL; integrate data from platforms like Tubi, Roku, YouTube, and Amazon with internal contracts.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, GitHub, VS Code; move project docs into dbt catalogs.
• Leverage AI tools in development workflow (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Snowflake Cortex) to improve governance and tooling.
• Partner with product managers, data visualization leads, and analysts to deliver consumption-ready data.
