Job summary

Coupa is seeking a Senior Collections Associate to manage a high-value portfolio across a global customer base. You will drive end-to-end collections, engage customers across channels, and work with Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to resolve billing issues.

The role requires 5+ years in collections within SaaS, FMCG, or Financial Services, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zuora is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of collections experience in SaaS, FMCG, or Financial Services.
• Ability to engage at a senior sales management level to resolve issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with professional negotiation.
• Proven ability to manage a complex, high-value portfolio independently.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Hands-on experience with CRM/ERP platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zuora.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of high-value, complex customer accounts and end-to-end collections.
• Proactively engage customers by phone, email, and video to resolve overdue balances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Deal Desk to resolve billing issues.
• Escalate to senior sales leadership for high-risk or high-value accounts.
• Maintain collections forecasts, aging reports, and cash application records.
• Identify process improvements to reduce DSO and bad debt exposure.
• Utilize Oracle and Tesorio (or similar) to track status and portfolio health.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes related to accounts receivable.
