Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) seeks a Senior Back-End Engineer based in Colombia for a fully remote role. You will own microservices, data pipelines, and the agents stack, turning raw data into structured records and search indices powering the platform.

You’ll work in a small team driving architecture decisions, shipping independently, and collaborating across AWS, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and GraphQL integrations.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Python and FastAPI experience.
• Experience building pipelines for large semi-structured data.
• Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch index design and optimization.
• Practical GraphQL experience and cross-service API contracts.
• Strong AWS knowledge and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate high-throughput data pipelines in Python (FastAPI) handling large-scale data feeds.
• Build extraction, parsing, and enrichment workflows turning raw files into structured records.
• Design and maintain Elasticsearch/OpenSearch indices and optimize bulk ingestions.
• Develop agent runtimes and tool-calling interfaces with state and persistence.
• Integrate with GraphQL APIs and external vendor APIs with robust error handling.
• Build resilient event-driven systems on AWS with retries and dead-letter handling.
• Profile and debug live pipelines to maintain speed and reliability.
