Job summary

BairesDev in Colombia is seeking a Lead Data Engineer (Python) to spearhead the design and optimization of robust data pipelines while guiding engineering talent to deliver high-quality data solutions. You will mentor developers, design scalable ETL/ELT processes, manage workflows with Temporal or Airflow, optimize databases, and drive migrations to modern architectures.

This is a 100% remote role with competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Python Development, or a related field.
Experience with workflow orchestration using Temporal or Airflow.
Strong SQL Server, stored procedures, and data extraction skills.
Proven ability to mentor teams and align stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in English.
