Xebia Group in Colombia seeks a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models and AI agents. You will develop scalable backend services with Python, FastAPI, and cloud-native architectures, integrating platforms like Azure OpenAI or AWS, and contributing to architecture and best practices across cross-functional teams.

10+ years of software engineering experience, with recent hands-on Generative AI solutions.
Strong Python and REST API development experience.
Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, or similar).
Experience in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and cloud platforms.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications using LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
Build AI agents and RAG solutions for intelligent workflows and knowledge-based apps.
Integrate AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or equivalents.
Develop scalable backend services and APIs with Python and FastAPI.
Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end AI apps (e.g., React).
Design prompt engineering strategies to improve accuracy and UX.
Implement intelligent routing, semantic search, vector databases, and knowledge retrieval.
Deploy and manage cloud-native AI apps using AWS and Terraform.
