Wesco is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain financial records, ensure accurate entries, reconcile subsidiary ledgers, and prepare complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports in Bogotá.

You will lead journal entries, support monthly closing, analyze variances, coordinate procedures, and assist auditors. 3 years of accounting experience is required, 5 years preferred; CPA/CIMA/ACCA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; CPA/CA preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience in general ledger, budgeting, and audits

Responsabilités

• Prepares journal entries and analyzes accounts
• Compiles and analyzes financial information for general ledger and business transactions
• Maintains and coordinates accounting procedures and internal controls
• Resolves discrepancies in billing, inventory, costing, and other accounts
• Prepares general ledger reconciliations and variance explanations
• Interacts with internal and external auditors during audits
• Supports monthly closing and accounting reports
• Assists in budget preparation and expense control
