Ingepsy seeks an SDET / Test Automation Engineer to advance automated testing strategies while modernizing enterprise applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10. You will partner with developers, QA, and the Tech Lead to build scalable frameworks, improve quality, and ensure reliable releases across the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, or QA engineering.
• Experience designing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern tools.
• Experience testing .NET/React/TypeScript web apps.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile teams.
• Strong testing methodologies and defect management knowledge.
• Ability to translate requirements into scalable test coverage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing and manual testing best practices to achieve full coverage of modernized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and quality issues.
• Validate application upgrades, dependency updates, and compatibility changes introduced during modernization.
• Execute test automation against web applications, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to project stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices and continuous quality improvement across both development squads.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including (automated) test plans, test cases, test results, defect tracking, and release readiness.
