Agencia De Empleo Cafam is seeking an SDET/Test Automation Engineer to design and implement automated testing strategies as part of modernizing enterprise apps from .NET 6 to .NET 10. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and the Tech Lead to build scalable test frameworks and ensure reliable releases.

The role involves automated and manual testing across web, API, and backend services, with a focus on quality metrics and continuous delivery practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) or Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web applications built with .NET, React, and TypeScript technologies.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with Git-based repositories, Jira, and Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing and manual testing best practices to achieve full coverage of modernized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and quality issues.
• Validate application upgrades, dependency updates, and compatibility changes during modernization.
• Execute test automation against web applications, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices and continuous quality improvement across teams.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, results, and defect tracking.
