Gente Útil S.A. is seeking an experienced SDET/Test Automation Engineer to drive automation strategy as we modernize enterprise apps from .NET 6 to .NET 10.

You will partner with developers, QA, and the Tech Lead to build scalable frameworks and ensure reliable releases. The role requires designing automated tests for web apps and APIs, integrating tests into CI/CD, and delivering quality metrics while reducing regression risk across squads.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, or QA engineering roles.
• Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web apps built with .NET, React and TypeScript.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with Git, Jira, and Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and defect management.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to achieve full coverage.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects and quality issues.
• Validate upgrades and compatibility changes during modernization.
• Execute tests against web apps, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze results and communicate risks and metrics to stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices across squads.
• Create and maintain test documentation including plans, cases, results, and defect tracking.
