Jobtailor in Bogotá seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated API and backend test frameworks with RestAssured, Java, and modern CI/CD pipelines. You will implement robust test suites for RESTful services and collaborate across squads to ensure quality from planning through release.

Lead and mentor junior QA engineers, define test strategies and acceptance criteria, and enforce best practices for maintainability, scalability, and performance in a fast-paced tech

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and RestAssured for API automation.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, and Git.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, and API documentation tools.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
