Appspringtech in Bogotá is seeking a QA Automation Engineer who loves writing clean test scripts and strengthening CI/CD pipelines. You will design and run automated tests for web and mobile, using Cypress, Playwright or Selenium, and contribute to robust release cycles.

You will collaborate with developers to isolate bugs, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain QA environments. A strong emphasis on API testing, load testing, and clear communication in English is required.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in Software QA with emphasis on automation.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, Appium and API testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and test integration in containerized environments.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

About the Position

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer passionate about writing clean test scripts and maintaining bulletproof CI/CD testing pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute automated test cases for web and mobile products using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Perform thorough API testing, load testing, and manual visual inspections when required
• Integrate automated test execution suites directly into GitHub Actions or GitLab CI pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to isolate bugs, perform root-cause analysis, and verify software fixes
• Maintain and improve QA environments and test coverage metrics reports

Requirements & Technical Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on QA Automation
• Hands-on experience with modern testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Appium) and API validation
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and integration of test runs in containerized structures
• Solid written and verbal English communication skills
