Bbva is seeking a seasoned SDET/Test Automation Engineer to lead automated testing for modernization efforts from .NET 6 to .NET 10. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable test frameworks, collaborating with developers, QA, and the Tech Lead to ensure reliable releases.

The role emphasizes hands-on automated testing across web apps, APIs, and services, with CI/CD integration and strong focus on quality assurance practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SDET, Test Automation, or QA engineering roles.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
• Experience testing web applications built with .NET, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience validating REST APIs, integrations, and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with Git-based repositories, Jira, and Agile development teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and QA best practices.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable automated test coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to ensure full coverage of modernized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects and quality issues.
• Validate upgrades and compatibility changes introduced during modernization.
• Execute test automation against web apps, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices and continuous quality improvement.
