Blue Star Redes is seeking a hands-on SDET to design and maintain automated testing frameworks for modernized enterprise apps, from .NET to web front-ends. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and the tech lead to ensure quality and smooth releases.

The role requires 6+ years in SDET or QA, experience with Playwright or similar tools, REST API testing, CI/CD, Git/Jira, and strong communication across engineering squads.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in SDET, Test Automation, or Quality Assurance engineering roles.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing and manual testing best practices to achieve full coverage.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and quality issues.
• Validate application upgrades, dependency updates, and compatibility changes introduced during modernization.
• Execute test automation against web applications, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to project stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices and continuous quality improvement across both development squads.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including automated test plans, test cases, test results, defect tracking, and release readiness.
