Vantor is seeking an Operations Support Engineer to join a mission-focused technical operations team supporting satellite ground systems and 24x7 operational readiness. This role focuses on scheduling backend ground systems and antenna resources, monitoring system health, and coordinating anomaly response.

Formación

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proven ability to diagnose hardware and software issues in time-sensitive environments.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and coordinate backend ground systems, antennas, and resources with vendors.
• Provide operational coverage through a rotating schedule that includes day, swing, overnight, weekend shifts.
• Monitor telemetry and operational data to identify anomalies and determine escalation paths.
• Coordinate with vendors, service owners, and engineering teams to resolve hardware/software issues.
• Track investigations, maintenance actions, and risk through resolution.
• Develop and maintain metrics, reports, and dashboards on system availability and performance.
• Develop and improve operational tools and documentation to strengthen reliability and readiness.
