Apex IT is expanding in Colombia and seeking a Salesforce Integration Developer to join our LATAM-focused team. You will design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems, and work with Informatica to deliver scalable data flows for clients.

This role blends remote/hybrid work with client-site engagements, requiring strong Salesforce configuration and development skills, REST/SOAP APIs, and collaboration with analysts and architects.

Formación

• 4+ years of Salesforce development/configuration experience.
• 4+ years of Informatica experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement Salesforce integrations with external apps.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion processes into Salesforce.
• Analyze source data structures and map to Salesforce objects.
• Configure Salesforce APIs including REST, SOAP, and Bulk API.

Job Title: Salesforce Integration Developer

Reports to: LATAM Vice President

Work Location/Travel: Remote within Colombia or on-site at client locations. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for client engagements.

Job Summary:

We’re seeking driven and passionate professionals to join our growing team in Colombia. You’ll collaborate with global experts on cutting-edge projects, deliver tailored solutions for clients, and play a key role in establishing Apex IT’s footprint in LatAm. As part of this growth, we are looking for a motivated Salesforce Integration Developer with practical experience in Salesforce.com and expertise in integration tools. This position is ideal for individuals with a solid grasp of Salesforce configuration and development and a proven ability to integrate Salesforce and external systems using Informatica. We seek someone eager to work on impactful projects and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external applications.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion processes for loading and synchronizing data into Salesforce.
• Analyze source system data structures and create mapping specifications to Salesforce standard and custom objects.
• Configure and support Salesforce APIs, including REST, SOAP, and Bulk API integrations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and external teams to define integration requirements and data flows.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, data quality problems, and system connectivity challenges.
• Support integration testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Document technical designs, interface specifications, and mapping requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Stay ahead of trends through continuous learning and certifications (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Cloud).
• Work directly with clients to provide strategic insights and solutions tailored to their needs.
• Contribute to internal initiatives and help shape our presence in Colombia.
• Share your expertise with team members and clients, fostering growth and innovation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Competency:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce fundamentals, including Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform best practices.
• Basic understanding of integration design patterns and API/web services, including REST and SOAP protocols.

The role may be performed remotely or on-site at a client location, depending on project requirements. Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience with Salesforce.com in a development or configuration role.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica (Cloud or PowerCenter) in building and maintaining integrations..
