SearchApi is hiring a Ruby Engineer focused on web scraping and browser automation. You’ll fix parsers, implement new search engine integrations, and reverse engineer protections while operating in a fast, remote team that serves billions of requests.

Ideal candidates bring deep Ruby on Rails experience, CDP internals knowledge, and strong written communication. You’ll own features end-to-end, mentor peers, and engage with customers and APIs daily.

Formación

• Strong Ruby on Rails experience and production-grade code delivery.
• Extensive browser automation and web scraping background.
• Experience with anti-bot evasion and CDN/infrastructure concepts.
• Proven ability to own complex features end-to-end.

Responsabilidades

• Fix broken parsers under time pressure.
• Add new elements to existing search engines.
• Build and ship new search engine integrations.
• Reverse engineer website protections and anti-bot systems.
• Debug browser automation issues (CDP, fingerprinting, evasion).
• Create and improve documentation pages.
• Develop landing pages and admin dashboard features.
• Review PRs and help test.
• Talk to customers directly to understand APIs and websites scraped.
• Rotate on customer support and ship what is needed.
