Zusammenfassung

Growth Acceleration Partners is seeking a Senior Fullstack Ruby Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain mission-critical accounting features for a legal-tech SaaS platform.

You will own the full delivery lifecycle from conception to production, emphasize robust automated testing, and utilize AI-assisted coding tools while ensuring strict data accuracy for financial transactions.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications.
• 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience developing backend services with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven experience developing interactive frontend interfaces using Ember.js (highly preferred) or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Demonstrated track record of owning tickets end-to-end, taking code from local development all the way to production monitoring.
• Experience handling financial data, requiring strict money correctness (decimals, rounding, currency) and the idempotency of financial operations.

Aufgaben

• Architect, develop, and maintain secure, high-traffic accounting features using Ruby on Rails and Ember.js.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle by proposing technical solutions, writing code, deploying to production, and verifying success in the live environment.
• Champion automated testing by writing robust unit and integration tests, moving away from slow UI-heavy test suites, and enforcing unit tests as a strict PR gate.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding tools daily while rigorously reviewing generated code to ensure it meets strict team quality and security standards.
• Optimize high-traffic Rails applications, specifically identifying and resolving ActiveRecord bottlenecks.
• Detect and diagnose production issues rapidly using modern observability practices, including logs, traces, and metrics.
• Conduct security audits on user-uploaded data, such as CSV imports, and leverage CI/CD pipelines for automated security scanning and schema checks.
