Waters Bogotá is seeking a Research Business Developer to drive market expansion in the Research segment, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with Sales and technical teams to shape value propositions. You will build a robust pipeline, engage researchers and academic leaders, and support adoption of Waters Research solutions.

The role emphasizes understanding scientific applications, consultative selling, and delivering measurable impact in regulated environments.

Formación

• Professional degree in Health Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related fields.
• Knowledge of Research environment, including scientific applications, research processes and academic/lab dynamics.
• Understanding of consultative business development processes.
• Ability to structure value propositions aligned to technical and scientific needs.
• Experience with CRM tools and pipeline analysis.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop market strategies and identify new opportunities in the Research segment.
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities in Research.
• Establish and grow relationships with researchers, academic leaders, and lab directors.
• Develop value propositions aligned with client scientific, technical and operational needs.
• Expand Research portfolio by growing existing accounts and opening new ones.
• Collaborate with Sales and technical teams to support adoption and value realization.
• Document and track opportunities in CRM and report market progress.
