WSP is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy to contribute to large-scale renewable projects in Canada. You will design and deliver electrical systems for solar, wind, and BESS, coordinate deliverables, review peers, and guide junior staff, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting site activities as needed.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, 5+ years in renewable energy design, and proficiency with industry tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy design (solar, wind, BESS).
• Electrical engineer designation in at least one Canadian province is an asset.
• Experience with design software such as ETAP, Easy Power, CymCap, PSCAD, PSS/E, CDEGS, WinIGS.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in electrical design of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS) and HV substations.
• Produce and coordinate detailed engineering deliverables (drawings, studies, specifications, calculations).
• Perform technical reviews and QC of deliverables from other engineers and technicians.
• Provide technical supervision to junior engineers, EITs, or technicians.
• Participate in site activities, including construction support and commissioning as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency and schedules.
• Support market development team with technical input for service proposals.
• Contribute to technical reviews or due-diligence assignments under supervision.
