WSP en Colombia is seeking a Wind Energy Analyst to join our Renewable Resource Assessment Team in Bogotá. You will assess wind resources, energy production, and project performance for utility-scale developments, and collaborate with experts to drive the energy transition.

The role requires 6–9 years in wind energy or related fields, with strong skills in Python/MATLAB and wind-flow modeling. You will deliver technical reports and mentor junior colleagues in a dynamic, global-environment.

Formación

• 6–9 years of professional experience in wind energy or renewable resource assessment.
• Experience performing wind resource assessments and energy production estimates for utility-scale projects.
• Experience evaluating meteorological phenomena and climate datasets is desirable.
• Experience supporting project development, feasibility studies, or due diligence is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Assess wind resources, energy production, and project performance for utility-scale developments.
• Analyze wind farm data using specialized software tools and internal methodologies.
• Model wind flow using CFD and mesoscale techniques.
• Prepare technical reports and client deliverables, and present findings.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
