Basta & Company, a San Francisco-based CPA firm serving construction, real estate, and other small businesses across the U.S., is seeking a meticulous bookkeeper to support U.S. client month-end close remotely from Colombia.

This role emphasizes learning cloud accounting and AI tools, high initiative, and strong English communication; onboarding is largely self-directed with videos, tutorials, and written guides.

Formación

• Accounting degree required.
• 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong English—spoken and written.
• Experience with U.S. clients or U.S. firms.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.

Responsabilidades

• Support bookkeeping and month-end close for U.S. clients.
• Complete bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Review transactions and maintain accurate books.
• Assist with month-end adjustments and financial reporting.
• Communicate with clients by email and video.
• Learn and use new cloud accounting and AI tools.
• Help improve internal processes and workflows.
• Take ownership of assigned client work with minimal supervision.
