Capgemini Bogota is seeking a Transport Network Operations Specialist (N1.5) to provide advanced technical support for transport networks in a dynamic LATAM setting. You will diagnose incidents, bridge N1 with N2/N3 escalation, and ensure efficient incident resolution from Bogota and nearby regions.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with WDM/DWDM, SDH, and optical networks, plus familiarity with Huawei and Nokia equipment management.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in transport network support/operations.
• Experience with WDM/DWDM, SDH and optical networks.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse incidents escalated by N1, validate severity and impact.
• Correlate alarms across transport layers (WDM/DWDM, SDH) to identify root causes.
• Review performance metrics (Tx/Rx power, BER, Q-factor) and health of interfaces/cards.
• Coordinate resolution with N2/N3 engineers, Huawei and Nokia vendors, and field teams.
• Provide guidance to N1 technicians and contribute to RCA and continuous improvement.
