Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, seeks an experienced Test Architect to own regression testing strategy and quality framework for an observability and audit platform across enterprise environments.

You will design automation architecture, define coverage for log ingestion, tracing, IaC validation, and ensure quality gates across sprints while collaborating with engineering teams delivering logging, alerting, and IaC capabilities.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional experience in Test Architecture or QA leadership.
• Experience leading testing strategy for distributed, data-intensive systems.
• Deep experience designing regression testing frameworks and automation strategies.
• Experience validating performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Strong understanding of observability concepts and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and automated deployment environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and sprint-based delivery.
• Experience defining formal acceptance criteria and quality gates.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end regression testing strategy across platform components.
• Translate success metrics into measurable acceptance criteria.
• Define comprehensive test coverage for: log ingestion, performance, tracing, audit trails, and security.
• Design the automation architecture and determine testing approaches and tooling.
• Establish regression suites that validate sprint deliverables.
• Own test environment strategy and test data management across versions.
• Define approaches for performance, functional, security, and scalability validation.
• Validate IaC deployments are reproducible and meet criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering to align testing with the platform architecture.
• Track testing progress, risks, defects, and quality status throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide quality reporting and recommendations during reviews and stakeholder discussions.
• Own quality gates and provide sign-off recommendations ahead of formal acceptance.
