Oowlish Technology is seeking experienced SDETs to build and execute automated regression tests for a complex observability platform. You will validate APIs, data pipelines, and telemetry, while ensuring IaC deployments are reproducible with zero manual steps.

The role emphasizes testing distributed systems, cloud environments, and integration with Jira, AWS, and Terraform, all within a remote setup for global teams.

Formación

• 4+ years as an SDET or similar testing role.
• Strong automated test suite development and maintenance.
• Strong API testing and automation experience.
• Scripting for validation and automation.
• Experience with load and performance testing.
• Cloud-based environments knowledge.
• Experience testing backend, infra-heavy, distributed systems.
• Experience with formal acceptance criteria and DoD.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain automated regression tests.
• Develop tests for log and metric ingestion pipelines.
• Validate search, API, telemetry, and data pipeline functionality.
• Test distributed tracing, alerting, and audit capabilities.
• Verify IaC deployments and zero-manual-step deployments.
• Run regression tests across parallel environments.
• Document defects and regression evidence for sprint reviews.
• Collaborate with Test Architect and engineering teams to improve coverage.
