Viamericas seeks a QA Engineer to join our software team for ensuring high quality across web and Windows applications. You will design and execute tests, create robust test cases, and work with Product owners and Delivery Director to refine automation strategy.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and collaboration in a fast-paced, global setting. Remote-friendly with international audit support.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IS, IT or related field.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with peers and executives.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English (CEFR C2 / TOEIC 915 / TOEFL 82.5) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute manual and automated tests for web and Windows applications.
• Create test cases for front-end interfaces, APIs, and backend systems using JavaScript/ReactJS/SQL.
• Collaborate with Product owners and Delivery Director to define automation strategy.
• Identify and document issues with program function and output.
• Plan test schedules aligned with project scope and timelines.
• Contribute to product design reviews and provide input on requirements and potential risks.
• Log bugs with reproducible steps and assist developers in debugging.
• Write comprehensive test cases for new products and features.
• Review product requirements and contribute to test planning.
• Additional duties as assigned.
