Oowlish is seeking experienced SDETs to build and run automated regression tests for a complex observability and audit platform. You will validate APIs, data and telemetry pipelines, distributed tracing, alerting, IaC deployments, and scalability across enterprise environments.

You will develop regression suites and tooling, perform load and failure testing, and ensure high-quality releases within Agile sprints.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional SDET or test automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
• Strong API testing and automation experience.
• Experience with scripting for automation and validation.
• Experience with load and/or performance testing tools.
• Working knowledge of AWS environments and Terraform deployments.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry-based systems and distributed telemetry.
• Experience testing backend, infrastructure-heavy, data-intensive, or distributed systems.
• Experience with formal acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites.
• Develop automated tests for log and metric ingestion pipelines.
• Validate search, query functionality, and latency.
• Test distributed tracing accuracy and end-to-end telemetry flows.
• Validate alert delivery, firing conditions, and routing behavior.
• Develop automated tests for audit trail queries and integrity.
• Validate IaC deployments, reproducibility, and zero-manual-step deployments.
• Execute load and scalability testing against targets.
• Perform failure-injection scenarios and validate platform behavior.
• Run regression testing across multiple versions and environments in parallel.
• Identify, document, triage, and track defects against acceptance criteria.
• Provide regression evidence during sprint reviews and DoD compliance.
