Job summary

Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is seeking a knowledgeable Medical Doctor (MD) to support telehealth operations by conducting comprehensive patient evaluations, reviewing histories, assessing symptoms, identifying potential medical conditions, and providing clinical recommendations.

The ideal candidate must possess strong clinical judgment, extensive medical knowledge, and the ability to evaluate patient symptoms and determine appropriate treatment options, including prescribing when authorized

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school.
• Proven experience conducting telehealth evaluations and remote patient care.
• Strong medical terminology, pharmacology, and clinical evaluation skills.
• Ability to review medical histories, labs, and imaging to form treatment plans.
• Familiarity with U.S. medical guidelines, prescribing practices, and HIPAA.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for telehealth consultations with comprehensive medical evaluations and clinical assessments.
• Collect and document patient demographics, medical history, previous surgeries, current diagnoses, allergies, medications, and existing medical conditions.
• Evaluate patient symptoms, including severity, duration, frequency, and potential underlying causes.
• Conduct detailed patient assessments and ask follow-up questions to identify potential diagnoses and determine medical needs.
• Demonstrate understanding of medical terminology, diagnoses, diseases, and medications, including indications, dosages, contraindications, and side effects.
