Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP Group) seeks an experienced US Staff Accountant to support a fast-paced accounting environment with a strong focus on high-volume balance sheet and bank reconciliations. The role emphasizes payroll-related liabilities and expands to additional close activities, all from a remote Colombia-based setting.

You will collaborate with US-based teams, maintain reconciliations, and help standardize procedures.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with high-volume reconciliations in US market.
• Fluent English (B2+/C1) bilingual.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Experience with payroll liabilities, payroll taxes, benefits, or deductions is a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare and maintain detailed, high-volume balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile payroll-related liabilities including taxes, benefits, 401(k), workers' compensation, and deductions.
• Compare payroll, GL, bank, tax, invoice, and third-party data to identify discrepancies.
• Research and resolve reconciling items with supporting documentation.
• Prepare high-volume bank reconciliations including cash receipts, disbursements, ACH, wires, and payroll funding.
