HireHawk Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to oversee the financial operations of a growing commercial real estate portfolio. You will manage general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations, and monitor NNN expenses, CAM, taxes, and insurance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting, 3+ years in CRE, and hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager and QuickBooks. This remote, full-time role requires strong organization and collaboration with property managers and leadership.

Qualifications

5+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in commercial real estate accounting.
Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager.
Strong knowledge of NNN / Triple Net lease structures, CAM reconciliations, property-level accounting.
Experience with multi-entity environments and GAAP lease accounting standards.
Fluent in English (written and verbal) and proficient in QuickBooks, Yardi Voyager, Excel.

Responsabilités

Maintain accurate financial records for a portfolio of 20–30 commercial properties/entities.
Manage GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliations; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Reconcile property-level transactions and track NNN expenses, CAM, taxes and insurance.
Monitor tenant rent payments, escalations, late fees, and issue monthly statements.
Partner with property management to enforce rent collection and handle delinquencies.
Review vendor invoices and track maintenance costs in line with budgets.
Assist in annual budgeting/forecasting; support audits and tax filings.
