Job summary

BairesDev in a 100% remote role seeks a Rust Engineer to design and maintain high-performance backend services. You will work on systems-level applications, focusing on memory safety and blazing-fast execution.

You will implement async I/O, build scalable APIs with gRPC/JSON-RPC, optimize PostgreSQL schemas, and manage deployment in AWS. Strong English required for global collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering with a focus on Rust.
• Experience building backend services with Actix or Axum.
• Strong PostgreSQL proficiency and database schema design.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming patterns and concurrency.
• Experience implementing communication protocols such as gRPC or JSON-RPC.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance backend services and systems-level applications using Rust.
• Implement efficient, non-blocking I/O operations and concurrent systems using async patterns.
• Build and manage scalable API architectures using gRPC or JSON-RPC for robust service communication.
• Integrate and optimize data persistence layers using PostgreSQL to ensure high data integrity.
• Orchestrate application deployment and lifecycle management within AWS cloud environments.
• Conduct performance profiling and benchmarking to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
