Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Principal Python Engineer to design APIs and backend services powering large-scale consumer platforms. This is a hands-on role with full ownership from design through deployment on AWS serverless, shaping how millions interact with the product.

You will work with a global remote team, craft data models with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and build infrastructure as code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform. Excellent English is required for collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and AWS Serverless.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services powering web and mobile experiences.
• Own features end-to-end from design through deployment.
• Design APIs consumed by web and mobile apps.
• Build infrastructure as code for repeatable deployments.
