Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer specializing in Python to build scalable backend services on AWS serverless architecture. You will work on features from design to deployment, and APIs powering web and mobile experiences.

You’ll join a global team delivering impactful solutions remotely, with competitive USD or local currency compensation and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Python.
• Hands-on AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Implement features end to end from design through deployment.
• Build and consume APIs used by web and mobile applications.
• Work with containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Build and maintain data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
