Airalo is hiring a backend engineer to join a fully remote, global team building scalable PHP/Laravel services. You will design and extend features, build RESTful APIs, and collaborate across the full software lifecycle.

You should have 3+ years in PHP, strong Laravel experience, and solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL, AWS, and testing. English fluency and strong communication are required. Salary bands are provided for multiple regions in the UK/Europe, with remote flexibility.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of full-time development experience in PHP.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Laravel.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Java, Go, Javascript (Node.js), Typescript.
• Minimum 1 enterprise project development.
• Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL.
• Experience in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, SQS, Security, Aurora, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in OOP concepts, SOLID and design patterns.
• Experience in distributed systems and developed RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge about multi-language API and admin panel.
• Knowledge about Queue and Pub/Sub systems.
• Knowledge about Unit Test/Feature Test/Mocking.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop enterprise-quality, scalable, maintainable code according to spec.
• Develop new features or enhancements to existing features.
• Develop API with multiple data sources.
• Design RESTful services and APIs for front-end clients and other consumers.
• Migrate monolithic applications to SOA.
• Collaborate daily with other developers across the full SDLC.
• Automate testing by writing test code.
• Troubleshoot issues and problem-solve as needed.
